Richie Sambora Looking Forward To 2008
Richie Sambora Looking Ahead"Last year was a little tough for me," Richie Sambora told Sun Media in an Canadian newspaper exclusive.
"I had a little bit of a tough year. My dad passed away and going through a divorce, and child settlements and custody and blah, blah, blah and all the stuff that I went through -- that was kind of tough."
Sambora said the tabloid coverage of his personal life wasn't great, but he has been through it before and tries to roll with it.

Good Medicine
Continue reading...Davis and the Stewarts had 15 minutes with Jon, Richie Sambora, Tico Torres and David Bryan, who were full of hugs and warm greetings.
The ladies found Sambora particularly charming.
“Could stick him in my pocket and take him home,” Davis says with a glint in her eye.
“He’s bad to the bone,” Stewart adds, in a way that suggests that’s a good thing.

Saddledome, Calgary - December 13, 2007
It seems like yesterday (actually it was this summer) that Jon, Richie Sambora and the crew were last in town, but that didn't stop them from strolling through Calgary again on the Lost Highway Tour. The show opened with the back-up band playing a cover of Hank Williams' original version of Lost Highway as Tico Torres (drums) and David Bryan (keyboards) arrived on stage followed by Sambora (on guitar) and then finally Jon. When Richie hit the strings the band segued into their version of Lost Highway (much different from that of the old country tune).Continue reading...

PARALYSED BON JOVI FAN SUES FOR COMPENSATION
A BON JOVI fan has launched a $14 million (GBP7 million) compensation claim after he was paralysed at a gig in Canada.
Dennis Schulz suffered a dislocated spinal cord when he was crushed by revelers caught up in a brawl.
Schulz has filed against four fans, staff, promoters and the venue in Edmonton, Canada - but not the band.
Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora, 48, says, "Oh god, we're really, really sorry."

MTS Centre, Winnipeg - December 9, 2007
Continue reading...WINNIPEG - Not long ago, a certain bunch of Jersey-born radio staples sought to head their critics off at the pass by calling their boxed set 100,000,000 Bon Jovi Fans Can't Be Wrong.
Well, the ageless rockers only managed to draw about 16,000 of those fans to the MTS Centre last night. But even though that boxed set is just begging for a witty retort, we're still not about to argue with a single one of 'em.
And we're being facetious, of course, when we say "only 20,000." As any good Bon Jovi fan can tell you, tickets to last night's show sold out in a matter of minutes, meaning the Phone Booth was literally packed to the rafters by the time Jon, Richie and the rest took to the stage.

WOWOW ONLINE interview
RICHIE SAMBORA

WORTHY CAUSE
December 7, 2007 -- AN A-list crowd turned out at Cipriani Wall Street Wednesday night to help raise money for UNICEF and the Sarah Ferguson Foundation. The Post's Peter Lauria reports that Tyra Banks, Eva Mendes , Harvey Weinstein, Richard Branson, Richie Sambora and Jeff Gordon helped raise $830,000 bidding on an autographed Gibson guitar, a Maserati and afternoon tea with the Duchess of York herself. After the bidding, George Michael, who looked fit and trim in jeans, T-shirt and blazer, and Aretha Franklin, who looked exactly the opposite, played intimate sets for the crowd.
