THE TODAY SHOW
(Tuesday, November 23, 2004)
Thousands and thousands of Bon Jovi fans headed down to Rockefeller Plaza to witness BON JOVI perform on THE TODAY SHOW this morning. It was chilly but the guys were there early - first for a souncheck at 6am... Then they came back for an on-camera soundcheck with 'YOU GIVE LOVE A BAD NAME' (abbreviated...) before Matt Lauer introduced them officially... the band played three songs: YOU GIVE LOVE A BAD NAME, IT'S MY LIFE (which was the winner of The Today Show's Viewers Choice poll with 68% of the votes) and RADIO SAVED MY LIFE TONIGHT. And now, the band is off for the holiday... So, if you celebrate Thanksgiving, have a great holiday as well (and if you're a turkey - RUN!!)

AMA Red Carpet Rumor Control
AMA Red Carpet Rumor ControlIt was a hot night for music at the 32nd American Music Awards, and "Extra" was in the house and one on one with the stars.
Feeling Their Age?Moving on to the AMA Award of Merit recipients Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora - could these rockers finally be feeling their age?
"Most mere mortals only dream of having fans scream like that," Jon said. "I wonder where their moms are, you know?"
Richie, accompanied by the dazzling Heather Locklear, admitted jokingly, "It's unbelievable; it's a milestone, I mean one-hundred million records"
"And only being twenty-five! It's amazing,," joked Heather.

Sex god
By definition, any truly great guitar player is sexy. But the Sex God look takes the game to another level. With a bewildering combination of smoldering glances and impossibly perfect cheekbones, a Sex God barely need pluck a string to seduce every woman (or man) in the arena.

Bon Jovi rocksJon Bon Jovi is promising that his band's next album will be a "loud guitar, big rock record," according to Billboard.
The set, which is expected in stores this spring, is also reportedly a more personal and introspective record. Guitarist Richie Sambora described it in yet another way.
"I think we stumbled upon something again on this particular record, kind of like what happened with `It's My Life.' When (that) came out, it seemed to give Bon Jovi a whole new audience. We've always had a vast audience base, but with this new record, what I'm feeling is it's kind of a new direction," said Sambora. "It sounds very fresh, yet it sounds like us."
