RECAP OF CHRIS JERICHO'S XM SATELLITE RADIO SHOW
Continue reading...4. Y2J admits it's the first time he's ever heard "Have A Nice Day", but saw it on the charts on Da Boneyard, wanted to play it and says it's a real good track. He says he likes that squeal that Richie Sambora does and says Sambora's not a bad guitar player who tracked Bon Jovi down in the early 80's and Sambora said "I'm gonna be your new guitar player" and Bon Jovi at that time still had a guitar player. He says Sambora had some "Marc Messy?-like balls" and Y2J says you should have "Messy-like balls" since he's banging Heather Locklear and says he's heard that she likes big balls.

New York Minute
The Meatpacking District's Aer nightclub produced the party of the week Wednesday to fete the 40th birthday of Times Magazine fashion guru Horacio Silva. Somehow I got myself roped into being security for gender illusionist Aurora - whose stage (the bar) was being mobbed by thirsty guests - because trust me, the last thing you want at a party is an upset drag queen. Gran Centenario tequila even created a custom cocktail for the night. ... My favorite subway ad at the moment belongs to the Manhattan law firm that, trolling for personal-injury business in Spanish, advertises its phone number as 212 MARGARITA. … Jimmy Kimmel, his girlfriend, suddenly everywhere comic Sarah Silverman, and John Mellencamp will be at the Waldorf tonight to benefit the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research. … Kid Rock, Richie Sambora, Jon Bon Jovi and Olivia Newton-John celebrated with triple Country Music Association Award-winner Lee Ann Womack at Duvet. ... A promoter of the book "Eat Fat Lose Fat," which intriguingly recommends coconut products as a diet aid, just sent a copy as a Thanksgiving gift to President Bush. I wonder if he was amused?

Soundcheck : Richie Sambora : Bon Jovi guitarist
ONE OF THE ONLY’80s arena-rock acts to sustain its popularity into the ’90s and beyond, Bon Jovi continues to be a hot ticket. Its new album, sarcastically titled Have a Nice Day, features a title track about “living in the world of broken hopes and dreams” that serves as a response to the last presidential election. It will likely join “Livin’ on a Prayer,” “Wanted Dead or Alive” and “You Give Love a Bad Name” as one of the band’s more popular anthems, something that’s not lost on guitarist Richie Sambora, who recently phoned from his California home. — Jeff NieselContinue reading...
