BON JOVI NEWS ROUNDUP

Just a few tidbits of information heading in the week of the big kickoff for the HAVE A NICE DAY Tour.

October 30th, JON BON JOVI did a matinee performance in New York City at the brand new Hard Rock Cafe for local radio stations (and huge Bon Jovi supporters) WPLJ. It was open only to folks who won the chance to attend via the radio station. JON performed along with BOBBY BANDIERA (on guitar,) JEFF KAZEE (on keyboards) and LORENZA PONCE (on violin.) It was very casual. They sang, and then took some questions from the audience, then they sang, and Jon took some more questions... Here is what was played: HELP (Beatles tune featuring violin intro of Amazing Grace,) LOVE FOR SALE, LIVIN' ON A PRAYER, YOU GIVE LOVE A BAD NAME, BED OF ROSES, THAT'S ALRIGHT (Elvis cover,) IT'S MY LIFE, KEEP THE FAITH, SOMEDAY I'LL BE SATURDAY NIGHT, I'LL BE THERE FOR YOU, WHO SAYS YOU CAN'T GO HOME, BORN TO BE MY BABY, WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE. *They also performed a little bit of Blood on Blood in response to a question from the crowd.

Later the same night, JON and these fine musicians perform at Jazz at Lincoln Center at a charity event for the Childrens Hearing Institute. Former Island/Def Jam label president LYOR COHEN, who is currently the Chairman/CEO of Warner Music Group, is being honored and Jon agreed to perform in his honor.

The BON JOVI crew is descending upon Iowa... all in preparation for the tour kicking off on Wednesday night, November 2nd in Des Moines... and the band will follow soon. What is it that Jon says? "Strap yourselves in we're going around..."
