SAMBORA SET UP LEMONADE STAND
RICHIE SAMBORA taught his young daughter a valuable lesson in giving when he set up a lemonade stand outside his home to raise cash for the victims of Hurricane Katrina.
The BON JOVI rocker insists he didn't plan on raising a fortune but thought it would be a good chance to show seven-year-old AVA ELIZABETH how important it is to help those less fortunate.
He says, "I think that really teaches kids a lot of humility and the independence and the strength and the courage to actually give."

BON JOVI are hoping rock sensations FRANZ FERDINAND will join them onstage when their world tour hits Scotland in 2006.
The KEEP THE FAITH hitmakers are huge fans of the Scottish chart stars since they heard breakthrough single TAKE ME OUT, and hope Franz Ferdinand will accept their invite.
Guitarist RICHIE SAMBORA says, "Whoever shows up at our gigs has to play- whether it be ELTON JOHN or ERIC CLAPTON. It's like a big jam session whether they like it or not.
I think Franz Ferdinand are killer and I love their songs. We'd like to get them on stage to play with everyone."

Continue reading...BON JOVI are heading to JAPAN this weekend to kick off the promotion of HAVE A NICE DAY. They will be doing extensive press, promo, TV and radio while in Japan. Then, they head to AMSTERDAM for more intensive press and promo and the big HAVE A NICE DAY Launch Event at HEINEKEN MUSIC HALL in AMSTERDAM on FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 16TH. The event is sold out to the public (fan club members might still be in luck though - keep your eyes on the fan club site!) The band then heads to the UNITED STATES to being the promotional week of release on this side of the pond. The only event that week that has been confirmed and announced is the BON JOVI HAVE A NICE DAY LAUNCH from NOKIA THEATRE TIMES SQUARE on Monday, SEPTEMBER 19th. The rest of the details about the band's activities week of US release are being finalized and will be shared in a press release outlining their appearances and activities... so standby. You'll see that information soon enough... and there's ALOT of activity in the works. After the US week of release, the band is going BACK to Europe to promote the album there. They'll be doing press and promo in the UK and GERMANY (BON JOVI is confirmed to perform on THE GUINESS SHOW on RTL on Saturday, September 24th - the first live performance of "HAVE A NICE DAY" for German audiences.)
