Bon Jovi defends Sambora's gal"That's horses---," said Jon Bon Jovi yesterday, dismissing a New York Daily News report that he doesn't want Denise Richards around. The actress dates Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora and has accompanied Sambora to a number of overseas gigs with the band. Bon Jovi, the guy, not the band, strolled through the Daily News offices yesterday, and we took the opportunity to get his reaction to Ben Widdicombe's NYDN item. "She's great. I'm gonna be staying with them in California this weekend," Bon Jovi said. He's had time to get used to Sambora's famous mates. The guitarist was married to Heather Locklear, until just before he started dating Richards, who was formerly a friend of Locklear's.
