Denise speaks: In an interview with TMZ, Denise Richards speaks out on the whole Charlie Sheen/Heather Locklear/Richie Sambora/David Spade mess, and she's really got her talking points down. Caught randomly by a camera crew somewhere (see the video here), Richards emphasizes that her focus is on her children, that it's all quite unfortunate and that Locklear "knows why we aren't friends." On the other side, it looks as if Locklear and Sheen may be teaming up. The pair share the same divorce lawyer, and In Touch thinks Locklear may prove to be a key character witness for him -- one source tells the magazine, "Heather could easily destroy Denise's case against Charlie." What really came between Paris Hilton and Stavros Niarchos? Could it have been “Mean Girls” vixen Lindsay Lohan?

Partying heiress Hilton and shipping heir Niarchos have reportedly split — but just hours after Hilton recently left the U.S. for Australia, Niarchos was spotted “sipping cocktails and dirty dancing” at L.A. club Element with Lohan, according to Life & Style.

“Lindsay was all over Stavros,” a bartender told the mag. “At one point, he had his hand up her skirt!” Three days later, Stavros was reportedly seen leaving Lohan’s room at the Chateau Marmont.

Hilton is said to be “heartbroken” over the breakup, but the ever-resilient heiress is already busy mending her heart, and was spotted on the town with football star Matt Leinart.

Teaming up
Look for spurned spouses Heather Locklear and Charlie Sheen to join forces.

Shortly after she split from hubby Richie Sambora, Locklear got a call from Sheen, who had been married to her best friend Denise Richards. Locklear had sided with Richards during her messy split from Sheen. “He told her that she’d backed the wrong horse,” a “pal” told In Touch Weekly, which reports that Locklear “had to agree” with him. Sheen and Locklear were buddies back from when they worked together on “Spin City.”

“Heather still adores Charlie,” an “insider” told In Touch. “They’re both in a state of shock but are vowing to help each other.” The two actually have the same attorney, Lance Spiegel, and some believe that Locklear could be a valuable character witness for Sheen — and against Denise — in any divorce proceedings. One source told the mag: “Heather could easily destroy Denise’s case against Charlie.”

Paula Abdul says Simon Cowell may want to marry her. Abdul was interviewed by Tyra Banks, who asked if working with Cowell is as bad as working with Janice Dickinson. “I used to work with Janice on ‘America’s Next Top Model’ and they kind of remind me of each other,” the model-turned-talk-show-host said in a segment of “The Tyra Banks Show” that airs on Thursday. “That’s a great analogy, because there are times where you just laugh...and then there are times you’re [cringing],” Abdul responded. “I’ll be trying to watch the performer on stage, and you can see him doing this [pokes Tyra] to me!” Tyra suggested: “It’s like the little boy on the playground when you’re a kid that likes you, and they hit you.” Paula agreed and said, “That must mean he loves me and wants to get married to me.” . . . Tom Cruise’s “Mission: Impossible III” co-star has a dream: to quit the business. “I just want to make a lot of money, buy a house and then quit,” Keri Russell told the London Independent . . . Avril Lavigne wants to get hitched this summer, but her family is reportedly asking her to wait a little longer. The 21-year-old “Complicated” singer wants to marry Sum 41’s Deryck Whibley in Beverly Hills on Aug. 26, according to Star magazine. “Avril’s family and advisers have been telling her to hold off, a source tells the tab. “They caution her about young marriage with two words: Britney Spears! That really gets Avril’s motor running!”

Richards denies being a homewrecker

enise Richards has said that she only got together with Richie Sambora after his split with Heather Locklear.

The actress says that her friendship with Locklear and Locklear's relationship with Sambora were well over before she started dating the Bon Jovi star.

Speaking to TMZ, Denise said: "I wish Heather well and happiness and it's really unfortunate that it's gotten to this point and Heather knows why we aren't friends.

"I don't want to get into all of that, but I wish her well and she knows that there was nothing that happened during either marriage and unfortunately our friendship had to dissolve."

Former Bond girl Denise was recently spotted canoodling with Sambora, causing the media to criticise her for stepping in too soon.

Denise Richards: 'Heather Knows Why We're Not Friends'

Actress Denise Richards has spoken out about her secret feud with former pal Heather Locklear, insisting their friendship was over before she started dating her estranged husband Richie Sambora.

The star has rushed to media outlets to defend herself against accusations she caused Locklear and Sambora's marriage to collapse shortly after leaving her husband Charlie Sheen.

Richards insists the portrayal of her as a home wrecker is unfair and she never romanced the Bon Jovi star when he was married to her former friend.

Speaking exclusively to TMZ.com, the actress says, "I wish Heather well and happiness and it's really unfortunate that it's gotten to this point and Heather knows why we aren't friends.

"I don't want to get into all of that, but I wish her well and she knows that there was nothing that happened during either marriage and unfortunately our friendship had to dissolve."

Richards has recently been photographed kissing and cuddling Sambora, and reports claim she has been invited to join the rocker and his band when they tour Europe this summer.

Meanwhile, the actress faces a court showdown with Sheen later this month after filing fresh divorce papers last month, in which she claimed her husband was obsessed with gambling and internet porn throughout their marriage and threatened her life and that of her parents if she went public with the extent of his problems. She was granted a temporary restraining order.

Denise Hurt by Heather's "Betrayal"

Once Denise Richards started airing her grievances, it apparently became difficult for her to stop.

The actress, who's currently in the midst of an ugly divorce battle with Charlie Sheen, already spoke out in court papers about some of the specific issues she had with her estranged husband--the alleged death threats, kiddie porn addiction and dalliances with prostitutes, to name but a few.

Now she's taking her former best friend, Heather Locklear, to task over Locklear's supposed "betrayal."

"Heather knows why we aren't friends," Richards told TMZ.com.

The obvious reason for the end of the friendship would seem to be Richards' reported romantic involvement with Locklear's estranged husband, Richie Sambora, whom the former Melrose Place star is in the process of divorcing.

Locklear's rumored beau of the moment, David Spade, seemed to perpetuate that speculation when he told reporters last week that Locklear was "still nursing the knife wound in her back."

However, Richards claims Locklear knows "that there was nothing that happened during either marriage."

"Heather knows why and when her marriage ended with Richie and she knows why my marriage ended with Charlie," she told TMZ.com.

"It is a betrayal because a lot of it isn't true and they know that and that's what's hard."

Locklear, thus far, has refrained from making any public statements regarding Richards and Sambora.

As for Sheen, he recently told Extra that he was "horrified" by the allegations Richards made in her recent court declaration and that she had "radically violated" their agreement not to discuss the details of their divorce publicly.

"It's the most vile attack I've ever witnessed, period," he said.

"Why was I allowed any contact, on any level, with her or the children for the past year? Why, if that's who I am?" he asked.

Richards, on the other hand, told TMZ.com she was under oath at the time she made her claims and stands by her declaration.

"This is one of the hardest times in my life," she told Us Weekly. "I have done my best to try and keep this private. It's unfortunate that the court document became public. My priority all along has been to focus on my children and their well-being."

Apparently believing the warring couple could use a little parental guidance, Martin Sheen weighed in, calling for a "cease fire," and telling Access Hollywood he had "every confidence that Charlie and Denise will eventually become friends."

We're going to file that one under wishful thinking.
