LOCAL LAS VEGAS BAND WINS COVETED DEMO RECORDING DEAL AND OPENING ACT SLOT FOR BON JOVI AT GIANTS STADIUM JULY 19TH IN NEW JERSEY

LOS ANGELES, April 25, 2006 Bon Jovi in association with AEG Live, LiveDaily.com and KMXB-FM today announced the winner of BON JOVI担 滴ave A Nice Gig opening act competition from the second leg of their sold-out 滴ave A Nice Day tour. JON BON JOVI and RICHIE SAMBORA selected Las Vegas own ASHBURY to receive a demo recording contract and perform as their opening act at their Giants Stadium concert on July 19th, 2006. ASHBURY beat out hundreds of Las Vegas best unsigned bands to be Bon Jovi痴 opening act at MGM Garden Arena on Saturday, March 11th. That win qualified them to compete on LiveDaily.com against 26 other winning bands from the second leg of Bon Jovi痴 sold-out 滴ave A Nice Day World Tour.

Jon Bon Jovi remarked from the Sapporo Dome in Japan, 敵entleman of Ashbury, just wanted to congratulate you on your victory and welcome you officially to the tour. You値l be playing one of three nights with us at Giants Stadium. 套Congratulations, I hope that one day you池e gonna pass the baton on to another band like yourselves.

ASHBURY was asked to be present at the KMXB-FM studios in Las Vegas today under the guise that they were being interviewed about their concert the following day. Once on air, ASHBURY was informed by Jon Bon Jovi, in a special message he sent from Japan, that they were the winners of the 滴ave A Nice Gig competition for the second leg of their tour.

鼎ongratulations to Ashbury from Mix 94.1! You won our 溺ark and Mercedes Opening Act promotion and opened for Bon Jovi here in Vegas. Now, you池e off to New York City to open for Bon Jovi at Giants Stadium with a Demo Recording Contract! All of us here at the station are proud of you and can稚 wait to see how you develop in the future. We hope to be playing Ashbury on Mix 94.1 years down the road.

"LiveDaily is thrilled to have a hand in such an innovative program," said Richard Tafoya, LiveDaily General Manager. "Ashbury and this great group of bands brought big talent and a massive fan base to the competition, logging more than three quarters of a million votes. It's been a pleasure to work with AEG Live and the Bon Jovi team in making the winning band's dream come true."

ASHBURY has built a strong fan base with their catchy, unique yet familiar style that has been compared to a mix of such bands as Jimmy Eat World, Mae and The Early November. Since the band was originally formed, they have developed and expanded their musical approach into a fresh and distinct sound. The band痴 musical rediscovery has led them to reach new heights and explore innovative areas of their music that were previously untouched. This summer, ASHBURY will embark on their much anticipated tour to promote the release of their album "When These City Lights Shine." Until their tour kick-off, the band will continue to perform in and around Las Vegas at various events including Extreme Thing 2006 with such emerging artists as Avenged Sevenfold, Hoobastank, Lit and more.

The second leg of 滴ave A Nice Gig challenged 27 opening act winners from concerts beginning January 14, 2006 in Oklahoma City and concluding with their March 11, 2006 concert in Las Vegas, Nevada. Beginning Monday, March 13th, fans logged onto http://bonjovi.livedaily.com and voted for their favorite band. After much deliberation, the votes were tallied and the semifinalists were delivered to Bon Jovi in Japan where ASHBURY was chosen by Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora as the grand prize winning band and will be awarded with a demo recording deal as well as opening for Bon Jovi at Giants Stadium on July 19th.

It was more than 20 years ago that Jon Bon Jovi, still an unsigned and struggling artist, was asked to submit his single titled 迭unaway for a local radio station痴 塗omegrown compilation album in New York. Soon the single was being played in heavy rotation across the country and the rest as they say is history. That experience inspired Bon Jovi to challenge unsigned artists nationwide to create their own 迭unaway success stories, teaming up with AEG Live, local radio stations nationwide, and LiveDaily.com to help create and implement the 滴ave A Nice Gig competition.
