Sambora / Richards...Locklear? 19

Hollywood.com :: Spade: Locklear Feels Betrayed

HOLLYWOOD - Actor David Spade claims Heather Locklear feels betrayed by former best friend Denise Richards, who is now dating her estranged husband Richie Sambora.

Spade was recently romantically linked with Locklear but insists they are just friends.

The Just Shoot Me star was asked at a Los Angeles awards party Wednesday how Locklear was coping with the news that Sambora and Richards were now a couple.

He said, "All I know is she's home nursing her knife wounds in the back tonight.

"That whole thing--objectively--looks a little rough. But I think that's the common opinion.

"Guys you can kind of not trust. But girls usually cover each other. That's what makes that rougher than usual."

When asked about the status of his own relationship with Locklear, Spade added, "I don't know what's going on. I'm just lucky to know someone that's that sweet and pretty."

Us Exclusive: Spade Says Locklear is “Nursing Wounds”

David Spade won the Hottest Bachelor Style title in this week’s Us Hot Hollywood Awards. At the awards party in Los Angeles last night, The Showbiz Show host weighed in on new love Heather Locklear and how she’s coping after finding out that good pal Denise Richards’ is hooking up with Locklear’s estranged husband, Richie Sambora.

Us: What can you tell us about the new budding romance between Denise Richards and Richie Sambora? How is Heather coping?

DS: All I know is she’s home nursing her knife wounds in the back tonight.

Us: How do you feel about it?

DS: That whole thing – objectively — looks a little rough. But I think that’s the common opinion. Guys you can kind of not trust. But girls usually cover each other. That’s why that makes that rougher than usual.

Us: Are you two growing closer?

DS: I don’t know what’s going on. I’m just lucky to know someone that’s that sweet and pretty.

Us: How does it feel winning the bachelor style award?

DS: Uh, it feels like there’s going to be some sort of recount, but I’ll take it while I got it.

Us: What makes you the ultimate bachelor and such a catch?

DS: Is it about being a bachelor? Well, I think at 30 it’s ok, but at 40 something’s wrong. People are catching on to that.
