Developers plan blowout next month in Greenwich

Out there . . . The guest list is endless for Antares Investment Partners' debut party on May 8. The big bash will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. under a huge tent at Antares' Stone Chase estate on Taconic Road in Greenwich. So far, the real estate development firm's managing partners and co-founders - Greenwich residents Jim Cabrera and Joseph Beninati - have led it to more than $5 billion in real estate assets.

Along with their many projects in Stamford and Greenwich, including the Luxury Mansion Division, Greenwich Place and Greenwich Oaks, and the Delamar, Antares is working on renovation plans for a recent purchase, the UST headquarters in Greenwich. The May 8 party will include cocktails and hors d'oeuvres served up by area restaurants, including Morton's of Chicago, Polpo, Tengda and L'Escale. Sponsors of the event include Betteridge Jewelers, Northern Trust, Greenwich Magazine and Miller Motor Cars of Greenwich, whose display of "fast" cars will grace the estate. Proceeds will benefit the capital campaign for the Greenwich YMCA, where Cabrera serves on the board of directors.
