Bon Jovi Goes Country

Jon Bon Jovi, who has already had a big county hit with Sugarland’s Jennifer Nettles, “Who Says You Can’t Go Home”, has released another song to country radio . Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora made their upcoming record in Nashville and on Tuesday, their new song, “You Want to Make a Memory”, went to country radio stations coast to coast.

103 WKDF Program Director Bud Ford said, “The country demo is 25 to 44 and Bon Jovi has a lot of power with woman aged 25 to 44.”

WKDF will debut it at 7:20 a.m. Wednesday and ask listeners what they think.

WKDF midday personality Becca thinks Bon Jovi will do well on her station. She said, "Well, I think he's hot and I think everyone own ‘Slippery When Wet’ so it could work."

Bon Jovi already is booked to play it on the CMT Awards and even on "American Idol."

In other entertainment news, Joanna Cash is one of only two surviving siblings of the late country legend Johnny Cash. She released a gospel album Tuesday that includes three duets with her brother, whom she misses dearly.

She said, "I can live in a world without Johnny Cast but I miss my brother, I miss him so bad… everyday."

Her new album is called, simply, "Gospel."
