Los Lobos, Jackson Browne and others will perform Friday in a benefit concert at the Malibu Performing Arts Center.
The concert, titled "From Malibu With Love: A Concert for the Midnight Mission," benefits the Skid Row homeless shelter. The event is being co-presented by Normans Rare Guitars in Tarzana.

Tickets range from $90 to $1,000. The highest-priced platinum level tickets include a privately catered dinner in the banquet hall, along with VIP seats. Gold level tickets at $500 include a cocktail party, while silver tickets at $90 offer reserved seating.

Platinum and gold tickets are available at the Malibu Performing Arts Center box office; silver tickets are at ticketweb.com.

A portion of the ticket price is tax-deductible, and all net proceeds from the benefit will go directly to the Midnight Mission, which serves the Los Angeles homeless population.

The benefit concert is the brainchild of Norm Harris of Normans Rare Guitars, who conceived the idea after five years of volunteering his time at the shelter. The benefit is also presented by LADuchess.com, a Los Angeles-based online retail boutique.
The show takes place at 7 p.m. Friday at the Malibu Performing Arts Center, 23825 Stuart Ranch Road, just behind Malibu City Hall. Information: (310) 456-6722; malibuperformingartscenter.com.
