So that's what friends are for. Bon Jovi played to a sold-out crowd of 5,500 fans in Hard Rock Live at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Fla., the other night on the eve of Richie Sambora's 47th birthday.
Jon Bon Jovi celebrated the occasion by serenading his close friend on stage with a rock version of "Happy Birthday." A flattered Sambora showed his gratitude by singing a rare acoustic rendition of "I'll Be There for You."
JBJ then went on to comment about the many beautiful single women in the audience who would love to go on a birthday date with the newly separated rocker -- was he forgetting about Denise Richards? -- then warned Sambora "this time, sign a pre-nup!"
