(April 8, 2006 Tokyo, Japan) 50,000 eager fans enter the sold out Tokyo Dome, while hundreds of fans wait outside hoping an extra ticket will come their way. Bon Jovi has landed and is about to rock Japan!
Legendary Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora walks on stage, his broken arm taped up to as a temproary sling, and the Tokyo Dome roars! Sambora proceeds to tough it out through a full 2 hour show without missing a chord.
Multi million selling rock giants Bon Jovi have officially kicked off the 滴AVE A NICE DAY� Japanese tour. Bon Jovi have sold out over 10 shows at the Tokyo Dome in their career. The tour is named after Bon Jovi痴 current critically acclaimed album which hit # 1 in Japan and debuted at the top of the charts in many countries all over the world. The tour will hit Domes in Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka, and Sapporo. Sambora plans on playing all the Japan tour dates, despite his injury.
The Japanese shows follow two sold out US tour legs and a host of television performances. To date, Bon Jovi have sold more than 100 million albums worldwide and performed over 2,500 shows in 50 countries for more than 32 million people.
In May and June, thousands more fans in Europe and the UK will have a chance to see what all the excitment is about!
