•Actress Nikki Cox, 27, who plays Mary Connell on NBC's smash hit Las Vegas (what is that show supposed to be about?) and actor-comedian Jay Mohr, 35, author of the anguished Saturday Night Live memoir Gasping for Airtime, yesterday announced they were engaged. Date, sometime next winter.
On the other side of the spectrum, Dynasty survivor Heather Locklear, 44, is liquidating her 11-year marriage to 45-year-old Bon Jovi survivor Richie Sambora, whom she married after surviving a previous union with Tommy Lee. This is totally bad news, considering how the two were sold, by celeb shows, as the epitome of a good marriage to sad-sack singles.
