The album's first single, "Have A Nice Day," will get its world premiere at radio on July 18. The track was produced by John Shanks, Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora. Jon Bon Jovi also commented on the band's involvement with the Philadelphia Live 8 concert, saying, "We're excited to be part of such a great line up of artists for these shows, and we're honored to help fulfill Bob [Geldof's] vision. The impact he made in Africa 20 years ago is still the benchmark by which all charitable music events are measured."

System Of A Down has announced another handful of dates for their upcoming arena tour, which starts in August. The new dates are 8/8 in Phoenix, 8/15 in Pensacola, 8/16 in Orlando, 8/17 in West Palm Beach, 8/29 in Montreal and 8/30 in Quebec City. The Mars Volta will be the opening act on the tour.
British radio Web site XFM.co.uk says that Green Day will play their biggest U.K. shows ever this weekend at the Milton Keynes Bowl, and they want fans to help them with their next DVD. In order to appear in Green Day Live At Milton Keynes, fans must send in a video clip or photo of themselves and explain who they are and what they love about Green Day's music. Sirius Satellite Radio will debut its new Radio Margaritaville channel on Wednesday, June 15. The channel will launch with an exclusive live broadcast of Jimmy Buffett's concert from Bristow, Virginia, with more live Buffett concert broadcasts to follow on June 17, 20 and 26. Buffett originally launched Radio Margaritaville as an Internet-only station in 1998. In addition to his live broadcasts, the channel also features a wide variety of music and other unique programs.
Drowning Pool singer Jason 敵ong・Jones has left the band. Jones had joined Drowning Pool in 2003 after the death of previous frontman Dave Williams. He sang on the band's sophomore album, Desensitized, which was released in 2004 on Wind-Up Records. The group has reportedly already lined up a new singer but his identity has not yet been revealed.
