Bon Jovi Eyes September Release

Bon Jovi Eyes September Release

When Jon Bon Jovi is not busy attending the Arena Football League games of the Philadelphia Soul, the team that he co-owns, he and his band still write some hard rocking tunes. In fact, guitarist Richie Sambora told Rolling Stone that the next Bon Jovi record, due in September, is "a heavy record." "There are lots of guitars - I'll tell you that," said Sambora.

The band has finished 13 tracks, and they may add a few more. Sambora said the first single will be called "Have A Nice Day," and the group will hit the road for a tour in October.

In the meantime, Sambora is working on another solo album with the help of some Country artists. "I'm slated to write with Joe Don [Rooney] from Rascal Flatts, and I'm supposed to get together with Jo Dee Messina," he told Rolling Stone. "I've also been talking to Kenny Chesney. I'm trying to branch out. That's what keeps you evolving... and I think that's part of the secret to our success."
