THE LATEST BON JOVI NEWS
(Thursday, December 2, 2004)
Welcome to December and the start of the holiday season. A few news tidbits to hold you over:JAPAN will see the release of 100,000,000 BON JOVI FANS CAN'T BE WRONG on December 15th. The box set itself will be exactly the same as the box set released around the world. The label in Japan however will be adding a booklet (containing Japanese essays and translations of the song lyrics) and a compilation CD (containing 10 previously released b-sides from prior releases of Bon Jovi in Japan) to the outside packaging of the box set.
JON BON JOVI is featured on the cover and in a feature story of AMERICAN WAY magazine, the official in-flight magazine of AMERICAN AIRLINES. So if you're travelling this holiday season and you see a familiar face staring back at you from the pocket on the seat in front of you, that's Jon.
AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS - We hope you're enjoying the chance to view BON JOVI's highlight video, live performance and acceptance of their Award of Merit. The November 14th footage was given to us by Dick Clark Productions so fans on this site could watch it (since the show didn't air worldwide.) Enjoy.
BON JOVI TO PLAY THE EXCLUSIVE PHILADELPHIA SOUL SEASON TICKET HOLDERS' PEP RALLY
The Philadelphia Soul announced today the team will host their 2005 Pep Rally on Monday, January 17, 2005 at 7:30 p.m. at the Wachovia Spectrum in Philadelphia, PA.
The success of the BON JOVI appearance at the Pep Rally last season left the band with no choice but to return again this year. The Pep Rally will be exclusive to Soul season ticket holders and sponsors and will be the only opportunity to see BON JOVI perform.
Fans in attendance can anticipate a fun-filled atmosphere exhibiting all that an Arena Football League game has to offer, including 2005 Soul player introductions, giveaways and fan interaction with players, coaches and "Soulmate" dance team members.
The Pep Rally an overwhelming hit in the team's inaugural season is open to all Soul fans who purchase a Soul season ticket. Season tickets are available and start as low as $80 for the entire season. Season tickets for the Philadelphia Soul's second season are on sale now. For more information on season tickets and to order your Pep Rally tickets today call 1-888-PHIL-AFL or visit www.philadelphiasoul.com.
In 2004, The Soul led the Arena Football League in attendance averaging over 16,866 fans per home game, including six sellouts.JON BON JOVI and JOHN ELWAY are starring in a HILARIOUS new television commercial for the ARENA FOOTBALL LEAGUE's 2005 season on NBC. Last year, RUMBLE IN THE HOUSE features Colorado Crush co-owner JOHN ELWAY watching as his team plays Philadelphia Soul co-owner JON BON JOVI's team in "Jon's house" destroying it in the process... the sequel is this season's RUMBLE IN THE MONTECITO, it features ELWAY and BON JOVI (plus two Crush team members, the Soul's Chris 'Soul Train' Ryan and new star quarterback Tony Graziani) once again stoking the flames of rivalry between the two teams but this time the location is the MONTECITO CASINO, the fictional casino that serves as the backdrop for NBC's TV series LAS VEGAS. The commerical was filmed on the Las Vegas set (actually in LA!) in October and features members of the Las Vegas cast. The spot begins running as a preview on REGAL CINEMAS movie screens this week and versions (full length and cut downs) of the spot have been and will continue to air on NBC as they head towards the 2005 AFL seasn. Right now there is an embargo on this spot and it has an exclusive airing on NBC and on more than 5,200 Regal Cinemas, United Artists and Edwards Theatres screens in 430 movie theatres natonawide beginning this Friday, December 3rd thru December 30th. ... as soon as we get the greenlight, www.bonjovi.com will post the spot on this website so fans all over can watch. But in the meantime, fans who want to glimpse a 30-secon preview, can go to: http://www.arenafootball.com/around_the_afl/afl_headlines/457936.htmlNo matter what your thoughts on football, it's a very funny commercial you'll all love.
BON JOVI ONLINE STORE - if you've noticed, soon to come is the first ever online Bon Jovi store where you'll be able to buy clothing and hats and souvenirs all officially sanctioned by the band. There's a lot of work being done behind the scenes on items we think you'll really like so we thank you in advance for your patience... look for the site to be up just after the new year (we didn't want you hoping to hav stuff for the holidays and not be able to deliver - figuratively or literally!)
JON BON JOVI has donated a pair of signed jeans for a good cause, the National Hemophilia Foundation. They are part of an online auction to raise money for this charity via EBAY. Here's where you go: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3856939229.
